This is a deep, rich blue, not a grey-blue or black-blue. Noodler's as a whole tends to lay down a thinner line than some other inks--notably Waterman, so that my medium-nib Aurora with this ink lays down a line just a hair wider than 'fine'. It dries reasonably quickly and at least on my papers doesn't feather. And for being a 'lubricating' ink, it costs the same as regular Noodler's.
Noodler's prides itself on being US made and super-reasonably priced--for the same price, you'd get half the ink of many other brands. But this isn't 'cheapo' ink when it comes to quality. I've used a lot of inks, and for quality, color selection and price, this is the best brand. Try it: you'll be hooked!
