(More customer reviews)I have a couple of expensive fountain pens, but honestly? this $11 kid's pen is the one I use most of the time. I initially got it because I wanted one that it wouldn't break my heart to loose. The waterman lives in a box. This one lives with me.
This pen is meant to be used by children learning how to write with a fountain pen, but I think it would probably work well for most adults. The ink flows smoothly, and I've never had it blot or clog the nib. It writes well on the cheap paper at work-- post it notes, copier paper, etc.
The pen is well designed too. The thick width of the pen is comfortable, and there's a rubbery anatomical grip that makes it easy to write with even for longer notes.
Plus, it's just cool looking. The fat, translucent barrel gets comments all the time-- take that, expensive waterman pens!
