(More customer reviews)I got this product because of the ink promise. My husband just does forget to put the top on his permanent ink pen when he puts it in his pocket. Applying this product really gets a lot out at first, but needs reapplication two to three more times before a first washing. After that I may apply it again, or use Chlorox kitchen bleach on the stain a few times, and rewash. Then may have to reuse the bleach again. These shirts are usually polyester fabric. I did try this approach with the Amodex and bleach and six washing on his tee shirt, and it got the stain out all right, by virtue of disintegrating the area, leaving it with a big hole! So the Amodex might have worked on the tee, but now just use those for rags. A new shirt I just did, some kind of different fabric, perhaps with microfibers, and the Amodex did fine in two applications. The thicker poly/cotton ones do require repeated application. But I'm grateful for something that helps, as without it the stain will never come out.
