(More customer reviews)I have used converters before. This one fits my Waterman pen well. It does what it is supposed to do. I attach it to the nib, dip the nib in ink, and twist the converter. The ink is dawn up in the converter. I buy my ink in 50 ml bottles rather than using cartidges. There is a cost saving using converters over cartriges. A 50 ml bottle of ink cost about the same as eight 1-2 ml cartridges.
