(More customer reviews)The ink flow is fantastic on this pen. It writes with a dark, vibrant black that puts gel and rollerball pens to shame. Also dries quickly without any bleed-through.
Unfortunately, though, it's got a very scratchy feel to the writing --- like dragging a nail across the paper. It doesn't leave scratches, but it's at least as harsh as my usual rollerball (Uniball Micro) and no better than my usual gel pen (Pilot G2). If you're looking for an entry fountain pen that is representative of how they're supposed to feel when writing, you should really splurge the $25 for a Lamy Safari.
