(More customer reviews)This is my favorite pen (my regrets to my other beautiful pen/friends). I like it because it takes both ball and gel refills, but most of all, I like it because of they way it feels in my hand. Some of the plastic pens that you can get today are outstanding because of the flow of the ink, but they are all too "plasticky" and light in your hand. The gel ink from this Parker, not unlike all Parkers that I have used, flows extremely well and is very "inky." But most of all the pen has a wonderful heft in your hand and what they call the "cisile" finish is great because it allows you to get a solid purchase on the pen: it sits in your hand and does not feel as tough it is going to slide. It is a beautiful pen to look at and to use. Worth every penny, for me. (I am not going to get the roller ball version of this pen since I have other Parker roller balls and unlike this ball/gel pen, the roller ball has a lacquered tip rather than the ciseled finish and so lacks the graspability of the ball pen, where the ciseled finish extends to the tip.)
