(More customer reviews)I was a little wary before I bought this pen. I knew of Cross's reputation but I thought..."A pen is a pen!" Still, I enjoy writing with fountain pens, so I ordered it as a treat to myself. I had no cause to worry: once I started writing with the pen, I never wanted to write with anything else. The nib feels strong and durable on paper and the ink flows seamlessly. My only caveat is that I wish the pen were slightly bigger around but in all other respects, it was a wonderful purchase. I've yet to use the converter for ink dipping but it seems easy to use (with no ink mess), should I choose to do so. The blue color is a bit more intense than the muted blue of the picture but it's still pretty. I highly, highly recommend this pen to anyone who's looking to purchase a quality writing instrument.
