The only thing wrong with this pen is that the plastic tip on the cap, Cross's trademark design, is not perfectly aligned with the metal part. I bought 3 different Cross models, and they are all like this.
The rest of the pen is very nice. The polished metal parts are flawless. The cap slides on just strong enough to be secure, but not so tightly that it is hard to open. Unlike the plastic decoration on the cap, the plastic grip area fits perfectly. The weight is just right, heavy enough to feel like a good pen but not so heavy that it is annoying to have in a shirt pocket. The size is also just right. The barrel is wider than those skinny Classic Century models, but not as ridiculously fat as so many fancy pens which are just too big.
Cross's roller ball ink cartridge is better than several other brands I have tried recently, which were all pretty good.
If not for that stupid off-center plastic piece on the cap, this would be a perfect 5-star pen. But for the price, it really shouldn't have such an issue, so 4 stars it is.
