The writing with this pen is the same as most Safari (unless it is not working properly) and writes smooth with no skipping. I love the fine point. Before I started using fountain pens I always liked medium tips on pens. I find with most medium nibs on fountain pens they tend to be a little wide and has the possibility to skip a bit more.
If you are looking for a fun pen this is for you. The combination of brilliant color and smooth writing is a winning combination.
