(More customer reviews)I have used this among several other inks over the last few decades and see this one as a good representation of the French contribution. It is clean flowing, sustains good color and does not clog or coagulate. Since these people (Herbin et Famille) have been in this business for over two centuries, it should come as no surprise that they are very good at what they do; I will go so far as to say, however, I find it quite superior to Mont Blanc!
