Despite its size the weight is modest, as most of the pen is made from plastic rather than silver. The grey pearl pattern is beautiful, semi-transparent and looks very elegant alongside the sterling silver fittings; when you hold this pen in your hand you know you really have a very good quality pen. The nib is ultra smooth and reliable, giving a true medium line with no skipping or scratching. This is easily one of the very best pens I have ever used and strongly recommend it!
