(More customer reviews)This rollerball is an excellent introduction for the sophisticated child to the world of fine writing instruments and may spark the love of collecting. My four year old son was joyous when presented with this instrument on the occasion of his graduation and spends hours at his desk with it between his little fingers. It is somewhat amusing that he has concluded that nothing else will do when he prepares to put ink to paper and uses it exclusively for journaling. Being a ardent admirer of the works of Dr. Seuss, he was more than a bit appreciative of the thought reflected in the selection of this gift. Many years from now, one hopes he will look at this instrument and have fond memories of the time he spent with it as he wrote short stories for his academy's literary magazine. I have to admit, it was an inspired choice on my part as he has already expressed an interest in the purchase of another rosewood display chest for his ever expanding personal collection of fine writing instruments. I encourage all parents to consider this delightful rollerball for the precious little person in their own lives.
