(More customer reviews)I admit, I've never had a Waterman pen I didn't love. My Waterman Phileas fine point is still my everyday workhorse pen, but the Charleston, also in fine point, is my favorite. The balance is even better, the width of the barrel is as close to perfect for me as any pen I've ever owned. The quality of the nib, and ink flow are flawless. Of course, one expects this sort of perfection with any Waterman product. I use the converter, and I pair this pen with Waterman's blue-black ink. I admit, having an excellent fountain pen helps with the quality of my penmanship. The Charleston is my preferred pen for long journal entries and letters.
