My hand has lost some flexibility and strength and I thought a fountain pen would do the trick. I was right but this pen, although lovely, was not what I needed and I should have done more research before buying it.
I like the smart appearance and it is certainly solid and well made but the circumference is a little too large for my hand and it is heavier than I had expected. Also, there is no flexibility in the nib, which I now realise is something that I really need.
If you have larger hands than me, which is quite likely, and want something very solid and well made then this is probably a good pen for you. It comes with two cartridges and a converter.
I have now found that what I needed was something a bit smaller and lighter with a flexible nib and the Namiki The Falcon Flexible Nib Fountain Pen, Black Resin Barrel, Soft Medium Nib, (60252) fits that gap perfectly for me.
