A little about me. I enjoy writing with fountain pens and my Parker roller ball (only if required for carbon copies). I typically buy less expensive brands of fountain pens, "Hero", "Jinhao", and my slightly more expensive "TWSBI's" are a joy. But I am not a pen snob. I do not spend more than twenty/thirty bucks on any pen. I rather save my cash for inks... and Noodler's makes my favorite ink.
So buying this pen I had some pretty high hopes. Noodler's Ink provides a fantastic ink product so I only assumed that a pen made by Noodler's and filled with Noodler's Ink would be of similar quality.... Well I guess that depends on what you want from your pen.
The pen has a slim profile and is economically constructed with a decent nib (smooth, but not buttery).
The construction is simple and has a bit of a retro feel to it.
This is a nice spare fountain pen or a trainer pen but definitely not a pen for writing you life long memoir with.
Overall it does enough relative to its cost to provide some enjoyment, just don't get your expectations up too high..
