(More customer reviews)I bought this set because of the matte surface. I wanted a pen/pencil set that wouldn't rotate in my hand as I wrote. I almost returned it, though because the surface was more "slick" than I anticipated. After a few days of use, however, the surface became "grippier" and now I love it!
