(More customer reviews)This is the first new Waterman Fountain pen that I have owned. (I am a collector) The workmanship of the pen, which is stamped "Made in France," is impeccable. The nib is smooth and doesn't drag on any paper. I use it primarily as a logging pen, meaning that I plot points on a graph for my work. I sometimes write short sentences on my graph, but for the most part I use it as a technical type pen. I love fountain pens to write with. I know that they are cumbersome and sometimes messy, when you re-ink them, but there is nothing like have a quality instrument in your hand to help you make your handwriting more legible. It forces you to take pride in your handwriting and also forces you to slow down and take your time when you write.
