(More customer reviews)This ink, unlike most fountain pen inks, is waterproof enough for addressing envelopes and shipping labels. It is also waterproof enough for writing in daily planners and pocket calendars, since those also run the risk of getting wet (drink spills, being dropped onto wet floors or sidewalks, etc.) It's easy to read, too. Just don't use it for writing checks. Among this ink's competition, only the "Bulletproof" colors among the dark blue colors from Noodler's Ink are truly waterproof and safe for writing checks.
