(More customer reviews)This is my fourth Lamy Safari fountain pen. Like every other one it writes smooth and even. I never experience any skipping and it really is a pleasure to hold. With the cap posted it is balanced and has some weight behind it. With the cap not posted it is a bit lighter and the weight is barley noticeable. I like using it either way depending on what and how long I am writing.
What is unique about this pen is the color. I love it! It is a really deep purple and the aluminum gives it a beautiful shine. It truly is the best looking pen I own. I am truly impressed, I think it looks so good it inspires me to write more. If you love purple and are looking for a fountain pen this is your dream come true pen.
