(More customer reviews)I actually bought the pen because I loved the description.. Century II Starlight Sky Blue. The pen came in a very nice box with 2 black refills and a cartridge if you'd rather use it as a true "fountain" pen with bottld ink. The weight and design is perfect for a ladies hand. The barrell width is about the same as a ball pen and may not be as comfortable for a larger hand, but the weight is good with the cap snapped on when you write.
I was surprised when I inserted the ink cartridge for the first time. The ink flowed instantly. Even if the pen isn't used for a few days, the ink flow starts immediately.
Cross makes a great product, and customer service is wonderful. I've had cross ball point and rollerball pens for many years and the few times I needed a repair, they were courteous and prompt.
If you're looking for a mid priced fountain pen, I think you can't go wrong with the Century II pens for everyday use. It's sleek and classy. The only warning I give you is... watch out... everyone will want to borrow your pen. Make sure you get it back!!
