(More customer reviews)One of the most important things you do is write. This pen will improve your handwriting so you can know--not to mention everyone else--what you wrote, sometime later. The only comparable pen, comparable in improving your handwriting, that I know of, to the Lamy Safari is the Mont Blanc large pen that costs a few hundred dollars. The Lamy has two important features--a grip so you can control the point of the pen, and a point that is neither slippery nor scratchy. The Safari is best for people who have trouble with their handwriting. Other people, with fine handwriting ability, can use any ballpoint. I believe this pen was originally targeted for school children. The handwriting of many men today is worse than when they were boys in school.
