I haven't had any problems, but I'm generally gentle with fountain pens, I don't like using a lot of pressure. ( I don't think that's the best way to use a fountain pen, but that's just my opinion. )
The logo looks lovely, very modern and stylish - unlike almost any other fountain pen, it's sleek and streamlined. The cap snaps very solidly over the tip, and secures firmly over the back when open. I had absolutely zero problems with ink flow. Ink moved at the first touch to paper, and I never had to wet the nib or scribble a bit to get it to write.
Lamy's safari actually writes a little better, in my opinion, but also looks like a kid's toy. This pen has the style and look to accompany it's performance. I'll probably be carrying the safari wherever I go -- in a bag, in a notebook -- but this is the pen that I want to be seen writing with.
If all you need is a pen that writes, look at the safari. But if you want classic style without the bloated cigar-pen look almost every fountain pen has, this is a great buy.
