(More customer reviews)This is the BMW of pens. It's ergonomic design is well thought out and the look is sleek and elegant. I first discovered the world of Lamy Pens overseas at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam, while pursuing through the display case at the inside terminal. I had a few Euro's left, so I figured why no buy a pen, little did I know at the time that it would become my favorite pen of all time.
It does everything a pen should do, which is write smoothly when you require a writing instrument. I can't tell you how many times in my life, I had to try and get a pen to write by scribbling on scrap paper; but with this fine German engineered M16 Medium cartridge, it's never been a problem. The pen proves itself over and over to be reliable.
The design of the end cap is one of my favorite aspects of this pen, to engage the point, just use any part of the back of the pen. Most ballpoint pens just have a little metal part sticking out, but Lamy engineers made it the entire back of the pen. Also, the spring clip, is a true spring mechanism.
There are a few versions of this pen, but the L206 is the best bang for your buck. It is fully metal and therefore more bulletproof then the other versions and looks better IMHO.
