(More customer reviews)While I do not endorse the merchant selling a rather badly used and battered model of this Cross Lapis Jade Townsend, I do heartily recommend that interested collectors seek out a new one from a reputable seller. This is a beautifully realized Jade version of the old Townsend warhorse that breathes new life into a older design in a very exciting way. One can not help but gasp and chuckle with delight when the Cross box is first opened and this writing instrument seems to greet you with the subtle mysteries of Asia. Collectors will be surprised to find such pleasure in a lower end pen meant more for the masses, and the casual penman of little knowledge will be most likely be thrilled. Certainly, a unique effort by Cross and a step up from their usual assembly line but reliable productions.
