(More customer reviews)OK, so Montblanc is the name in fountain pens. I don't have one but I desire a luxurious Montblanc pen. So I naturally assumed that their inks would be equally as desirable.
I ordered and received my ink. The bottle design is elegant and functional. that arch in the bottom of the bottle is there for a reason - when the ink is low it creates a reservoir which makes filling the pen significantly easier.
The ink writes smoothly enough. It seems watery to me. But I've only ever had the one bottle from this manufacturer. It is a nice color for writing on cream or brownish papers. I thought it looked great in my Moleskin - until I discovered Pilot Iroshizuku 50ML Bottled Ink (WILD CHESTNUT)and Diamine Chocolate Brown Bottled Ink inks. The first costs twice as much, and the second half as much. Both were twice as nice.
So it is a good ink. But there are better.
